Using one of the vanishing points found in the image yesterday as a template, I started to make a 3D model. From there i experimented with using the backdrop as a base to add in layers to create the option illusion. The only issue was the lack of scale and proportion considered. I was attempting also to use trigonometry to help figure out correct angles. This of course was tricky considering I hadn't attempted to do trigonometry since I was fifteen. Honestly, I am becoming very frustrated with my progress, this part of my project is taking much longer than anticipated and I don't seem to be getting anywhere.
Set box 4 I decided had a a very steep deck and the deck was too narrow.
This was my attempt on photoshop to mark out layers and perspectives on photoshop. I have shown this to my interior architect housemate, who had not clue what it meant.
Set box 5- Here I have attempted to create an optical illusion with a shallow deck and wider space. I am still unsure about the overall look.
