I was in great need of photographing my pieces of 3D work well ready for my portfolio and my website. Therefore I arranged for a quick tutorial with Jenni today to show me how I could capture the depth of field better in the final images. These images will be used by both Joe and Myself, so they needed to be to a good standard.
As you can see I have photographed the set from a higher angle which, with the black backdrop, looks as if the set is floating as it was in the exhibition. I have also cropped some of the eye level images so it looks like a panorama shot. I like this alot as they recreate how the audience at the exhibition would have viewed the piece. This will also fit well with the website template I have chosen that has space for wide images in a slideshow mode. I am very pleased with this panoramic image as I think it shows my work in a professional manner.
These are some close up images taken so clients and viewers of my website/portfolio can view the details of the set. This is obviously very important as I'd like my audience to recognise the delicacy of each papercut.
This close-up I thought may be nice for the back of one of my business cards...
