This was my first exhibition out of university and It was definitely a massive confidence boost after seeing the general public's reaction to my work. During the opening night I had a few people come and ask me about the piece as well as later being posted about on a collective's instagram.
I feel that I should continue creating sets such as these as they appear to get across the theatricality and spectacle element I wanted to give. Obviously an installation such as this time consuming to make and wouldn't have the same quality if it had to made with a short deadline, therefore i need to revise how I recreate scenes on a faster pace for editorial publications.
It has been acknowledged that the materials Joe and I used for the structure of the set are way too flimsy and would have been more prone are to break if had been exhibited for longer. This is a consideration needed when making my final sets as the High Noon Exhibition is a week long rather than a few days. The material therefore should be more durable and able to be transported in a van to london without being damaged.
