For the website, I was very keen to have some of my recent paper cuts, especially as my practice had taken such a recent turn for this type of work. Still without the background, I thought it would be a good idea to play around with studio lighting to photograph the papercuts. The two images above show how shadows can give a sense of presence to the characters.
